NiNAS is proud to announce the issuance of its fifth accreditation to the newly published ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard. The new standard was published in November, 2017 to replace the 2005 version, and NiNAS has developed a transition plan in line with the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) mandated 3-year transition period.

This milestone in NiNAS accreditation activities was achieved by Bato Chemicals Laboratory Limited along with Alpha Chemicom laboratory, Federal Institute of Industrial Research Oshodi (FIIRO), Engineering Automation Technology Limited Q&I Laboratory, Port Harcourt and Quality Inspection Centre, Zinder Refinery Company Limited (also known as SORAZ), Zinder, Republic of Niger.

In line with the transition plan for ISO/IEC 17025:2017, NiNAS has stopped receiving applications for accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2005.
