The NiNAS Assessor training that we had, has been richly impactful. It acted as a refresher to the issue of quality, more importantly seeing it from the lens of an Assessor. The programme has been well facilitated and the environment, cordial. The facilitators have demonstrated deep grasp of the subject and have been able to communicate it in a manner that is easy to take in so my overall assessment is that it has been really rewarding.

It was educative, I liked the interactive session, it was not more like reading out the slides which was good because when you interact with your trainees, the ability to absorb percentage is high. I think it was an interesting one and I really do appreciate the opportunity to learn more.

The training has been really exciting for me because I have always been concerned about quality particularly in the laboratory. Two (2) years ago, we did something on utilization of clinical microbiology laboratory by clinicians and I think one of the main problems that led to low utilization of microbiology laboratory was the issue of quality. Quality is something I am very excited about and the way this training has been delivered is one I really enjoyed. It has been very exciting for me, very challenging.
This workshop has actually opened my eyes a lot and I have also interacted (with fellow participants) and people are challenged about quality management system and I think it’s the way that we should go as far as clinical laboratory practice is concerned. It has been very exciting and I am looking forward to the next workshop, the delivery was excellent, I think I have enjoyed it and I am very happy that Nigeria is moving forward.
