Hello Africa, my name is Celestine Okanya, The Director General of Nigeria National Accreditation System, NiNAS. I chair the Regional Accreditation for ECOWAS Region, ECORAS and also Chair Pan African Quality Infrastructure, PAQI.

Today is United Nations Micro, Small, and Medium – sized enterprise MSME day celebration. MSME Day 2020 – COVID-19: with the theme, The Great Lockdown and its impact on Small Business

It is therefore my honor and pleasure, on behalf of NiNAS, ECORAS and PAQI, to wish the MSMEs a joyful celebration.

Permit me to use this day ‘s celebration to affirm the commitment of PAQI institutions within African Continent to facilitating your access to standards, metrology and accredited conformity assessment services that will ensure the acceptability of your products and services in our local and international markets.

We are determined to provide the quality infrastructure needs of our MSMEs especially during this era of covid 19, and post covid period.

COVID19: NiNAS Resumes In-Office Activities

As we render our full support in the mitigation of the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, Nigeria National Accreditation System has resumed office activities in line with the federal government directives. We are open to the public but strictly according to the government outlined directives and we expect our visitors to also abide to the rules and regulations of the federal government.

Working hours are from 9am to 2pm and Personal protective equipments (PPEs) are mandatory.
